Jessica Hart – PR & Content Manager

Tell us about your journey at Greenstone?

I joined Greenstone in December, 2015. Initially I was employed on a short-term contract as Social Media Manager but within three months had been offered a permanent role as PR & Content Manager in the Corporate Affairs team.

Describe your typical work day?

My typical day starts, of course, with working through my emails to flag priority tasks and plan my daily to-do list. I then jump on the social media channels I am responsible for (Choosi and ASIA) to check for any issues that may need to be solved and sharing content. The rest of my day is then spent working pretty steadily on my research projects – sometimes balancing three at a time in various stages – either editing press releases, reviewing creative assets or brainstorming social concepts. A typical day for me has anywhere between one and four meetings to attend and prepare for too.

What have you gained from working at Greenstone?

I’ve gained crucial experience and knowledge of the public relations and social media landscapes, as well as the confidence to take on a task and give it my all to ensure it is as successful as it can be. And a lot of birthday cake!

If you could switch roles with another employee, whose job would you want and why?

I think it would be super interesting to be a part of the Analytics team as they have a unique, seemingly omnipresent, eagle-eye view of everything that goes on within the company and offer such different perspective.
